Technology Reflection - Rock Cake

WAL: How to make rock cake.

On Thursday for technology the year 8’s made rock cake with Mrs. Tuipulotu. Today's

technology was different to all the other technology's we've been to because

today we got to do everything by ourselves without the teacher instructing us all the

time on what we do and how we do it. Today the thing that me and my partner found really challenging

was trying to make our rock cakes in the right shape and topping them up. It was really challenging because without the teachers instructions we kind of needed a lot of help but besides from that everything else was amazing and it was an great experience. Today was also a great time getting to do all the baking by ourselves and learning how to make more new food and next time I really look forward to what we’re making next.

Food Technology - Reflection

WALT: reflect on technology today.

Today for technology with Mrs. Tuipulotu we made

some delicious Macaroni & Cheese. The year 8's all worked very hard 

to get a perfect macaroni to eat, but of course they were all yummy. My buddy was Paige 

and we worked really hard on it together.

Next time I think that we work a little bit faster and better.

Pewter Working - (Technology)

Today for technology I did pewter working with Mr Grundy. Today I am now up to the next part when you have to pore the pewter in to 

our finish art.

Today I have learnt that when you are finished cutting your piece of artwork you have to clean it before you get to the next part.

Today I had a great time and can't wait to see my finished piece of art.

Pewter Work - (Technology)

Today for technology I did pewter working with Mr Grundy. Me and my friends are already up to the next stage for our work. I am making this special necklace for someone very important to me and is always there for me.

Today I learnt that when your up to the part when you have to cut your piece of art you have to be careful so you won't cut yourself. If your skin touches the sharp bit of the chopper it will cut your skin 25 times.

Today I had a great day and can't wait to continue on next Thursday.
